Week 9 is in the books and the season is moving rapidly. Thursday night football starts this week, Every year it seems to start earlier and earlier each year. Remember when the Thanksgiving games were the first Thurday games? So be wary of this and get those lineups in early.

LINGERIELEAD DLRs Fantasy Football Studs, Duds, & Free Agent Watch (Week 9)

STUDS:

QB: KURT WARNER (ARI): 22-32, 261 yds., 5 TD. The Old-timer Kurt was up to his old tricks versus the Bears. They did not let them off the hook. Kurt briefly came out of the game because the Bears were playing so sorry but returned to throw another another touchdown. (shoutout: Jay Cutler)

RB: MICHAEL TURNER (ATL): 21 ru., 149 yds., 2 TD, 1 FL., 2 ca., 12 yds. Michael Turner made the Redskins defense look like swiss cheese. Somebody needs to teach Laron landry how to tackle. (shoutout: Deangelo Williams)

WR: LARRY FITZGERALD (ARI): 9 ca., 123 yds., 2 TD. Looking like the man again Larry was the beneficiary of Kurt Warner’s hot hand.(Shoutout: Randy Moss)

TE: GREG OLSEN (CHI): 5 ca., 71 yds., 3 TD. Jay Cutler’s go to guy. When you are down like they were their only option was to pass and Olsen had the invisible jersy on. (shoutout: Dallas Clark)

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: BUCS: 28 p.a., 404 yds., 3 Int., o f.f., 6 sacks, 2 TD. Most likely this defense is a free agent in your league. Green Bay played horribly dont think this is the defense of the gruden era. (shoutout: Steelers)

DUDS:

QB: JOE FLACCO (BAL): 18 -32, 195 yds., 0 TD. 2 int. After starting so great and almost looking like a team destined to make a Super Bowl run Baltimore may be lucky just to get in the playoffs.

RB: FELIX JONES (DAL): 4 ru., 10 yds., 0 TD. When Barber is going Jones doesnt stand a chance. But he is so explosive, any time he touches the ball he could make somebody miss and go to te crib.

WR: CALVIN JOHNSON (DET): 2 ca., 27 yds., 0 TD. Coming back from injury is always a crap shoot. Look for Calvin to return to form in the coming weeks.

TE: HEATH MILLER (PIT): 3 ca., 18 yds., 0 TD. The production at TE is always hit or miss. this week for Miller was a miss.

DEFENSE/SPECIAL TEAMS: BEARS: 41 p.a., 438 yds., 1 int., 1 f.f., 1 sack. The Cardinals lit their asses up. All around the Bears have not been playing defense up to expectations.

FREE AGENT WATCH:

QB: JOSH FREEMAN (TB): 14 – 31, 205 yds., 3 TD, 4 ru. 20 yds. The Josh Freeman era has begun in Tampa. He looks like he may have all the tools, and it will be fun to see his development.

RB: LADELL BETTS (WAS): 15 ru., 70 yds., 1 TD. Replacing an injured Clinton Portis Betts actually looked decent. Based on the way the league is beginning to handle head injuries you can count on Portis being out for at leasrt a couple more games.

WR: CHRIS CHAMBERS (KC): 3 ca., 70 yds., 2 TD. Many believed Chambers was getting a death sentence when he signed with Kansas City, actually looks like he may have gotten new life.

TE: BRANDON PETTIGREW (DET): 7 c.a., 70 yds., 1 TD. Even though Calvin Johnson appears to continue to be hobbled by injury, he still draws double teams which can open it up for the TE.

Good Luck in your games in Week 10.
